2002-04-24 12:44:23 In order to be able to read from it, I needed to include not only the scsi driver, but the scsi-cdrom driver in my kernel. I then kept getting the: cdrecord: Cannot get disk type error. I was using cdrecord version 1.10, but updated to 1.11a19 and it is now working like a charm. Reads faster than my hard-disk, write at 6x (over usb 1.1), did 591 MB in 11 minutes.
