2003-05-11 08:52:30 The Seitec USB Bar from Watford Electronics (savastore.com) appears to be the same device. It worked fine under Win98 and Red Hat Linux 9 - once I realised that it appeared as a SCSI device under Linux! The Win98 software provided can format the device into two partitions but I could only see the first under Linux - I probably need the patch above? Appears to be some competition with the Iomega parallel port zip (100Mb) drive as to which will be the first SCSI drive - as long as both are connected at boot time the flash disk becomes /dev/sda1 and the zip drive /dev/sdb4. I am in the process of posting further info. on my website.
