2003-08-26 21:47:30 I've been trying this with mixed (mostly negative results). SuSE Linux 8.1 kernel 2.4.19 from SuSE driver built against the provided tree The driver loads fine, but does not behave afterwards. I have got an image fine with gqcam, but not webcamd... webcamd calls v4l-ctl and this locks the whole machine every time. With gqcam, the program works, but when you exit the prog, or stop capturing from the menu, total hardware lockup. Can't find the reason yet, as there isn't much evidence left over :( I am only using this camera because I found one laying around.
