I installed a new module using "easycam". https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Webcam No more crashes, and a msn messenger user can see me when I send a webcam invite from the latest aMSN. The image is a bit dark, however. Still, a big improvement! |

The included kernel module loads when I plugin the webcam, but it locks up the system when I try to use it. I have not been able to get the updated version from the above site running. |
