The driver ov51x-1.65-1.12-mark is a bit outdated. Therefore
I am trying with this "JPEG-hacked" driver (this can be compiled for kernel version larger than 2.6.16, too).

OK. It seems that I was wrong. The comment
"from the changelog of gspca driver: Release test 01.00.03 Add support Creative Live Cam Video IM 0x041e:0x4051 Antonio Bartolini" has no relevance for this device.
Serge.A.S@tochka.ru has written me that it "Seems this webcam has ov530 chipset and ov7670 sensor".

There's a mistake in this entry: the gspca driver does not support the creative live! Cam Vista IM webcam. The PID for the vista model is 4052, whereas the one for the Video IM is _0451_! You have mistaken the former webcam for the latter. |
