2008-05-22 04:13:21 My 0x046d:0x092f was branded as a Logitech Quickcam Express Plus. On Gentoo, with 2.6.22 I installed media-video/gspcav1-20071224 then modprobe gspca. Also installed media-video/spcaview-20061208 which is a viewer. Running spcaview -b to adjust brightness was the only way to make the scene visible at all (60W incandescant bulb) - it was still very dark. Took it back to the shop as useless so I never tried it in daytime.

2007-02-16 18:14:01 Works with the "Linux kernel webcams Driver GSPCA / SPCA5xx" from http://mxhaard.free.fr/ Tried with version gspcav1-20070110 and Kernel 2.6.17
