It's funny that this does have its own DSP: Generally, such modems aren't dependent upon Windows; nevertheless, this is USB and not PCI.... As I understand it, the chipset is not supported at all in Linux.... |

I can 'see' this modem on the USB bus but it doesn't work in Linux. I tried all the standard methods such as creating /dev/usb/ttyACM*, etc. No joy. I got a note from Zoom tech support confirming that 'this modem was not designed for linux' and it will never work. Time to return this piece of junk and get a Zoom 2985L or a 3Com... |
