| Comment | Although other users have reported limited success with this device, most have not been able to get it to work. In Linux 2.4.6, the camera seems to reject the address assigned to it; usb.c then gives up, and the device is never recognized by the USB subs |

So I finally couldn't get the camera working due to teh fact that the usb-storage driver doesn't recognize it.
So for the moment the only solution is buying an Compact flash Card reader for about 50-80?. As I saw on another web site the USB version of the SanMate reader works well with the usb-storage driver. Just mount the flash card as a scsi device... |

So I found out that if the camera is on when the USB modules are loaded, the USB system recognizes the camera. Weird. However, I still can't get the usb-storage driver to link to the camera. |
